how can I donate furniture?

Anyone who needs the support of the Furniture Station should contact one of our Referral Agencies who will make an appointment with us. If you are unsure who your nearest or appropriate Referral Agency is please ring us on 0161 456 0717 for advice. You may wait up to two weeks for an appointment. You will not be seen without an appointment. It may be possible to have an emergency referral made in some circumstances. To be eligible to receive furniture or white goods you must be receipt of a means tested benefit and resident in Stockport.

What does the furniture cost?
Furniture and household goods. When you have chosen the goods you require you will be asked to pay a delivery charge of £20 for the first large item which can include a three piece suite and £2.50 for each additional item.

Charges for electrical items are cookers £35 [includes installation], fridge-freezers £25, fridges £10, microwave ovens £10 and vacuum cleaners £10. Electrical items are allocated not selected.
