How is the money used?

The project aims to:

Supply basic but essential items of furniture and white goods for individuals and families, proven to be in need, living within the Borough of Stockport and referred to us for help from a wide cross section of statutory organisations and community groups.

Make a significant contribution to the national efforts to reduce environmental pollution by collecting and re-uses many household items that would otherwise end their useful lives prematurely, dumped in landfill sites or in other very inappropriate places.

Provide training opportunities and work placements to enable local unemployed or disadvantaged people to re-enter the labour market and to regain self worth in the process.

Encourage the general public to donate their unwanted household items ensuring that they both help their neighbours and the environment as well.

Treat everyone fairly and equally without bias or preconceived ideas.

How is the money used?

We are determined :

That we shall continue to expand the operation to meet ever increasing demands.

That we will endeavour to broaden the operation to cover other items as both supply and demand permit.
