How is the Furniture Station supported?

The Furniture Station is majority supported by grants and donations from Stockport MBC, Stockport Homes, Hazel Grove Baptist church, our Supporters Group, and numerous charitable trusts. We also receive supports from local organisations, businesses, churches and the public. Without this support, the Furniture Station would not exist.

We are currently and proudly supported by The Henry Smith Charity and The J Paul Getty Jnr charitable trust until 2013. The Zochonis Charitable Trust, The Garfield Weston Foundation, The John Grant Davies Trust, The Sobell Foundation, The 29 May 1961 Trust, and The Beatrice Laing Trust are currently funding The Furniture Station.

Sponsor a Calendar Month Fuel Campaign

September 2012 saw the launch of the Furniture Station’s ‘Sponsor a Calendar Month: Fuel Campaign’. This campaign is currently supported by The Real Camera Company and Croftons Solicitors LLP who are both supporting a calendar month of fuel for 2013. If you would like to join the campaign and support a calendar month, please contact us.

Supporters Group

The Furniture Station is kindly supported by our supporters group, consisting of around 45 members and providing up to £10,000 a year. Many small but regular contributions can make all the difference to ensuring the Furniture Station continues to deliver the vital support to our clients. Our members generously donate from as little as £2.50 per month and welcome anyone wishing to join.
